What does Jimmer's recent emergence mean for AR?

Last 3 games comparison:
Rivers: 21 MPG 3.3 PPG 1.3 Ast 2.0 reb 26.3 FG%
Jimmer: 22 MPG 11.0 PPG 2.0 Asts 1.3 reb 52.3 FG% 33.3% 3 Point
Obviously jimmer is greatly outplaying AR offensively and is solid defensively as well.
It's a (very)small sample size yes but you can tell the difference between the 2.
When EG returns and jimmer keeps this up will AR be a DNP or possibly moved?

I can definitely see Rivers's expiring being used in a trade. Russ should be getting those end of bench blowout minutes so that we can see what he can do. Otherwise, Rivers won't get minutes unless a guard gets injured.

Jimmer's last 3 games have been good. However the rest of the games (that he's played in) have been pretty bad. I think it's way too small of a sample size to draw any conclusion especially considering AR's offensive improvement this entire year.
If I had to choose between keeping one and getting rid of one, I'd keep AR because to me that's the safer pick based off of what I've seen this year.

I don't think they are necessarily mutually exclusive. In fact, I like it when both are in the backcourt. Its better than seeing Salmons out there. And it gives the team more dynamic elements on the court at once. Jimmer hits Js, Rivers drives to the hoop. Like yin and yang...

I like Rivers ability to finish at the basket, and he is an OK bench player. Jimmer playing better and EG on the mend should = AR's minutes cut substantially.
There is a role for him on this team, just a limited one..

I'm expecting it to mean most for Babbitt honestly. What I think will happen is EG slides in to start, Rivers is still the lead guard off the bench, and Jimmer will play a few less minutes. Cunningham's minutes will dip slightly as well. I think Monty has pinned AR as a combo guard and Jimmer a 2 (very similar to the Roberts/Rivers situation last year oddly enough with roles reversed). That just naturally leads to more minutes for Rivers in Monty's rotation. Can't forget that EG has to stay healthy for any of this to matter which is a huge ?. In a perfect world it also means no more John Salmons, but I have my doubts.
