You convinced me to hire an OC that’s among the highest paid. What do I have to show for it?
Come on, bruh. Look at the situation logically.
1) How was our offense last year, Cam's first year...with a good QB.
2) Look at what we lost on O this year.
3) The O was YOUNG this year...YOUNG.
Cam has not had enough time to develop Harris, and I don't think Jennings is going to be starting next year. It will be interesting to see what Cam can do with Harris next year, and how much Harris can grow in the off-season.

This excuse is unacceptable. Not with respect to wins and loses, but to how that offense looked...no way they should be so inept and that's why I don't like that excuse.

We had 4 NFL starters at skill positions...and we finished 7th in the SEC in total offense. The offense also stalled numerous times against completely inferior competition (Ole Miss, Arkansas, etc).

A&M lost more than we did on offense, yet they finished with the 30th ranked offense in the country. We finished 77th with one of the worst passing offenses in the country.

We had a veteran offensive line. Our top two targets at receiver have been in the program for multiple years. Jennings was a sophomore, and had already spent an entire year under Cam's instruction.

Then explain to me how tOSU was able to win 11 games with their second and 3rd string quartebacks and then hang 42 on Alabama on a "Neutral" field with their 3rd string quarterback who had played what? 1game in a 59 to nothing blow out of Wisconsin where he mostly just handed the ball off. Against Bama he managed their offense with enough of a throwing threat to rack up 42 points and open up their running game. How much time does Les and Cam need to get a quarterback and offense going?

IMO, the youth explanation morphed from a reason to an excuse. Our OL retuned 4 starters all eligible for the NFL and two other seniors (Evan and Fehoko) vying for the other spot. We had seniors in the backfield (Hilliard, Magee, and Neighbors) and a Sr TE (Dickson). And Dural wasn’t that young either (draft eligible). 9 of 11 positions on O were draft eligible. Our “youth” is more choice than necessity. There were a lot of opportunities to develop a 3rd WR in ’13 squandered on ‘preserving victory.’ Learn from ants – they prepare for winter. It’s coming.
