Think of it like this, if Chavis was our DC in 2007, Tebow would have marched down field on that last possession and scored. We would not have held him on their side of the field forcing a hail mary throw.

That is an unrealistic scenario obviously, but I think it's an outside the box way to apply what happens with Chavis' defenses to our recent history. We fricking bleed TDs against two minute offenses and have the entire time under Chief.

list of pitiful defensive performances when teams score at will:

quote:

UNC 2010
bama 2010 - 1 minute TD drive
Ole Miss 2010
South Carolina 2012 - 1 minute TD drive
A&M 2012 - 1 minute TD drive
bama 2012 - two 1 minute TD drives, they won
Ole Miss 2012
Clemson 2012
Georgia 2013 - ended each half with TDs, they won
Ole Miss 2013 - Mett was awful, but we couldn't stop em, they won
bama 2014 - Butt fricked at home, same as 2012 he changed NOTHING
Notre Dame 2014

North Texas and fricking Towson drove the field with scoring drives on our 2012 defense.
