Isn't a clause if HC leaves assistant contracts are null standard?

Seems like that would be the case with all schools otherwise those schools would be on the hook for overlapping salaries if a coach were to leave or be fired. Makes no sense to me. I can understand the 4th year and maybe money but supposedly its not about money.

Don't understand why this would piss Chavis off. Would he really want to stay under contract with LSU still if he had no idea who his new boss would be?

He's mad because it has never been in his deals.
