This can be a huge factor in trying to land Mack and Phillips. What do you guys think

Same response as the last thread, it certainly doesn't help anything

Hire Bebe and Brent, lose nobody.

bullshite.
Losing Chief is a HUGE deal.
Our 2016 class is ridiculous. If we lose Chief it's gonna hurt us there for sure. You don't drop a D Coordinator and expect next man up to keep the same relationship that's been built for 3-4yrs with some of these young men.

Yep, it wont just be this years class affected

Losing Chief is a big deal. All those defensive recruits like Jackson and Mack and Phillips, tough sell getting them knowing we don't have a damn D coordinator at the moment. How about the big arse defensive haul we were looking to land next year. Two years and I was ok with Chavis doing whatever the hell he wanted.
If he leaves, then shite will get rocky.

What's worse is he can now sway some of those same kids to A&M. This is a lousy deal

If they hire Orgeron...

If they hire Orgeron, I think it will hedge some of the loss. Chavis will probably take Mack to A&M, but Bebe also has Tennessee connections, so we may be able to keep Phillips.

as long as we keep haley, I think we will be ok. chavis was not a major recruiter. suerly, he recruited a few guys. get a top notch recruiter as dc and this could end up a positive for recruiting.

Mack is going to Texas or TCU

And open the vault for recruits. Coach O is the man don't get me wrong but he hasn't been in these kids ears for 3yrs. Have a subpar defensive year next year and this program implodes.

I think it may impact us more for next year stead of this yeArs. I wonder if he takes Brick with him?

Wait, you want to keep Haley if Chavis leaves?

The biggest reason top Mississippi LB Leo Lewis is still considering LSU is because of Chavis....

Brick will go with him

Didn't think we were getting him anyway, but yea, this doesnt help
