Is it really though, when the airlines are offering the lower prices themselves? I'd say it's more like a coffee shop only showing the price of a small coffee, but you buy the large size which actually costs less, then you don't finish it.

No it's not.

It's comparable to buying a 44 oz drink at Circle K because it's $.10 less than the 22 oz. drink and you don't feel bad about throwing away the last 1/4 of it if you don't finish it all.

What a stupid analogy.

Wouldn't it be like wanting to buy a new video game, so you go to the store. The store has the video game for $60. But over on this shelf, they have the same exact video game, plus an additional controller, for $45. So you buy the $45 package so you could get the game for cheaper even though you didn't need the controller.

Isn't that more accurate?

I'm interested to see which way the court leans on this..

This dumb analogy would equate to buying a ticket from BR to Dallas but getting on a flight headed to Hawaii once you got to the BR airport.

This is bullshite. It is the same as needing 10 of something but buying 12 is cheaper and throwing the last 2 away. Now the manufacture is mad because 2 got wasted.
