Okay, I thought you might've been talking about Bill Arnsparger, who had a better conference record (but only coached 3 years).
Good point. Related to that, I actually prefer an offense that's somewhat of a blend of the styles of LSU and Auburn. Malzahn might be able to maintain the offensive pace and improve the D with better depth and rotation.
