Check the fire stick review thread below. Install is the same on the box as the stick and there is a bunch of links and info available.
I'm running the tvmc build and just checked the istream add on and all 3 college games are listed as available for today to stream. I'm goin to check it out for the aggies game and see how the stream is.

what is the cap on your tmo hotspot? you could go over that streaming video
