Start with a few AA meetings. You don't have to talk. You can just listen. If someone asks you to speak up, you can just say that you are listening.

As others have said, you can't make a big change until you decide that you need to make the change. Even then, it will be a hard road but one that is better than the alternative.

Unfortunately most people don't finally come to that realization until they have hit rock bottom in their relationships and finances.
