Exactly. Lsu tried every thing to get the ball to shep. He just wasnt that dynamic with the ball. We tried wr bubble screens, screen passes out of the backfield, direct handoffs and throwing the ball to him. Im glad he came to lsu and he gave more to lsu football ,on a offseason Wednesday ,than i ever will.

Name a LSU player who had a higher YPC with an equal (or greater) amount of carries.

He was awesome out of the backfield actually. Hell, as a freshman he would disappear from games after being our most productive player. UGA and MSU comes to mind

In 2011, he only had 7 carries. Can't really say that we made an attempt to give him the ball that year.

Right, but you can't say he wasn't dynamic with the ball when he produced when he had the ball
