Yikes.

My bed is cozy, but I can't sleep to save my life. Not hungover or anything, but drinking the night before always causes me to wake up earlier than I should.

I'll be wanting a nap after I eat a large lunch later.

I have been finding that if I go to bed after only 4 or so beers I wake up around 2am and basically struggle to sleep the rest of the night.

Yes, exactly.

And if I got hammered the night before, which is rare, I really can't sleep late because I don't feel well enough.

The only time I get a nice long sleep is when I pretty much drank nothing (or just like 1) the night before.

Alcohol is a depressant that has sadating qualities at large quantities but actually a stimulant at lower. Reason when people start drinking they become talkative and such. :rehab: lol

I've never felt the stimulating qualities.

You've never had a couple beers then felt the urge to get out and about? Or became more talkative, started bouncing around the bar?

Ahh yes the wonders of alcohol.

One minute you are the life of the party buying rounds of car bombs. The next minute you are jumping on cars and whining like a bitch.

A few beers has the effect of reducing ie depressing a persons internal negative self talk.

You go from "that girl must have everyone hitting on her" to "damn look at her. Lemme go say hey"

But if you're slurring your words, just stop. You've had too many.

I do pretty well when we go out. I drink at least a few every day because of how much I love beer. So my tolerance is decent, and I stop drinking when I'm full, which is usually before I'm drunk. I can easily last all day at a beer event without being drunk. I kinda just naturally go the right pace.

Jones' tolerance, especially now that he lives far away and doesn't drink as much, is way less than he thinks. So I have to keep an eye out for when I see the warning signs so I can get him home before he maxes out. He is impossible to handle when he gets too drunk.

I feel like a 50 year old. Combination of jumping bigger fences last night and the rain means my hip and ankle are aching.
