The economy has been strengthening for the last few years, but I'm comfortable saying that it's firmly "back" for the first time. It wasn't the great, instant recovery that some apparently expected after the worst recession in modern history, but when you consider our recovery relative to the rest of the developed world, we're still one hell of an engine.
