Just saw this movie. It was way better than I expected. Kim Jong-Un was way funnier than I expected. That actor (who also plays Asian Jim in The Office) was money. Opening scene with Eminem was hilarious. I honestly just couldn't believe how funny it was, considering the meh reviews.

Yep. I laughed a lot. One of the funnier movies I've seen in a while. Loved the tank squishing the soldiers. Awesome Franco is dumbass but he makes me laugh.

Probably a little bit worse than Pineapple Express, which I liked but always thought was overrated. Big fan of the duo, though, and it was definitely worth the watch. Don't want to spoil it, but I lost it during the cameo of a certain M/TV board favorite super hunk.

I fully agree. I shot a groupie message to my buddies when I was done watching it saying that I wanted not to like it and it was really funny. The only lull was about 30 minutes left and it lasted maybe 15 minutes and then picked back up when Franco's dumbs plan was actually happening.

I watched it early this morning. Meh. It had its moments but I didn't think it was anything special....but I'm not the biggest Seth Rogen fan.

Just finished it. I thought it was really good, actually. Maybe I just went in with low expectations, but I found Franco hilarious and Rogen a lot less irritating than usual (that's all he getting out of me).
The song during the end scene made a lot more sense after watching the whole movie. Loved the one liners: "They're peanut butter and jealous of us" (stealing that one) and "Honey pot/honey dicking" are classics.
The only scene I could have done without was the one in the control room where they were biting off each others fingers. Just seemed a little dumb and forced for laughs.

Honey potting/honey dicking was gold.
The dick stank scene made me lol hard.
I can see where North Korea would have a problem with this pertaining to the people turning on their leader. All in all I didn't understand the hoopla, it was just a fun flick that made me laugh.

This is far more enjoyable than the reviews suggested. Maybe low expectations helped.. I didn't think id end up watching this but I'm half way into it now and enjoying it enough

Just as bad as I thought it would be. The only good part of this movie was the Korean girls.. but most of the lines were so forced and damn near awkward. Couple of lines here and there would get a chuckle, but just a type of humor that isn't for everyone.
