Umm.. the fad route is no different than any other route. Needs a QB to execute

Except by design the qb is committed to the throw immediately. There is no chance to determine if the coverage is too tight...

You're right. All routes need a QB
But The fade route needs a REALLY good QB, a freak athlete at WR, extremely good timing between the two, and a little bit of a lot of luck
