I acquired this wrecked, and put about $1000 into it. All that's left to do is align it, tighten up the suspension, change the oil (check all fluids), detail it and get it inspected. I'm excited that it will be done for her for Christmas.
2008 f150 4x4 sxt:
new oval for the grill is still in the wrapper and will be the last thing put on.
So, give me some ideas on how to give it to her.

Put the new oval in a shoebox wrapped up under the tree. When she asks what its for tell her she has to help you install it later

Get a toy one similar to it, put the keys inside it. She'll probably be thinking, "Oh wow, a toy truck 
" Then you can tell her "Hey, it's just like a real one--it even has keys!"
