Well they do get billions of government subsidies and tax breaks in the form of roads and federally regulated airways and a lot of local and state governments have given them tax breaks.

You do know that Congress mandated the USPS pre-fund 75 years worth of retirement benefits in only 10 years, right? So, no, UPS and FedEx do not have billions in unfunded liabilities, because Congress is not trying to kill them off.
