Well the offense last year scored enough points to beat anyone besides BAMA. Sometimes your DEFENSE has to show up. And this year was the complete opposite, DEFENSE was outstanding save for 2 games, Auburn and Miss. St.

Those 32 teams that GAINED more yards than LSU, where did they end of ranked last year???

Again the 42 teams that finished AHEAD of LSU in passing yards where did they finsh at the end of the year???

And while you at it, name all those schools that played a competitive schedule as LSU also. So again you can keep your yardage national champions, give me and EFFICIENT OFFENSE and DEFENSE and I will take that anytime. I guarantee one thing, if Georgia had LSU DEFENSE this year they are in the SEC Championship game. There offense was EFFICIENT enough to win that division, there DEFENSE wasn't.

Awesome and irrelevant to the point that you asserted there was no offense you'd have preferred which is silly. Of course ANYONE would prefer a more productive offense than the one they had.

We finished 16th in BCS standing. 9 of the teams ahead of us also had greater offensive output. That's using yards per game but, I suspect you'll find similar results on the other possible measures.

Hence, bottom line, yes, our offense was pretty good but, even in the SEC, it wasn't the cream of the crop.

You said you wouldn't trade our OFFENSE for any other. Well, guess what, apparently, 9 teams managed to still play enough defense and out produce us offensively and end up ranked ahead of us.

Oh, you do realize that some of those teams are from the SEC and played SEC schedules, right?
