IMO the 2013 LSU offense was EFFICIENT. LSU doesn't need an offense to be Historic, or set records for this or that. Now with that being said, with all these HUNH offenses these days, in the SEC NONE EVER accomplished what the 2013 LSU offense did and that was a 3000 yd passer, 2-1000 yd receivers and a 1000 yd runner.

Even in the Georgia game the LSU offense PUT the team in a position to win the game, the DEFENSE failed miserably. In the Ole Miss game, LSU was in position to win the game, again the DEFENSE couldnt get a STOP in the final minutes.

Against Bama, it was a competitive game until the fake punt by Bama that turned the TIDE as they say.
So again, the LSU offense in 2013 was EFFICIENT and thats all you can ask out of an offense. HUNH be damned.

Great. But, there's a reason that announcers make a bid deal out of when a QB lights up a defense and "completes passes to 6 different targets". Frankly, our offense would've been a LOT better last year if Mett threw for the exact same numbers but the WR yardage was spread over more evenly and across 4 WRs, a TE and 2 RBs or some variation thereof.
