It's actually true this time though. We're the highest above the cap going into this offseason. $160M~ ... The cap is PROJECTED to be like 138-140 supposedly, but this is speculation. it could be lower. Even if we cut BOTH guards outright we wouldn't be below this number. That is alarming. YES, I believe they will get under the cap and sign some players. But it will be tough. We definitely won't be pulling a Byrd this offseason.
