But mainly it's the lies being told by the SG organizers that I can't let go unchallenged. And all because they want a taxpayer funded sandbox to play in.

Right now the EBRSS is playing in a big sandbox(to use your term) that they created by lying to voters and telling them that only if they had the money that they could make our schools better, get us better teachers, and they could provide us with disciplined schools. The voters bought into those lies and we have what we have now, a substandard school system ranked 43rd. in the state of La.

They also told us it was all the Feds fault, and now that we were finally out of Federal control things would change for the better. Are things better? In 2013 we were 41st, now we are 43rd in the state. a state that is always ranked near the bottom.

Bigger is not always better, and its easier to watch the "kids" playing in a small sandbox (St. George) than a great big sandbox(EBRSS).

St. George wants their own "sandbox". People here are tired of playing in the one run by the EBR Parish School Board.

Read the research on the subject. Small school districts have greater public support than larger districts do. EBRP should most likley have even more separate districts than just SG.
