I believe you predicted this, why couldn't Miles predict this

I don't know what you are trying to get at, but I made several posts on the recruiting board that you can go and find yourself. I said that he should RS and take time to bulk up and learn the offense.

I thought at least one of Rivers or Rettig would have been able to keep him at bay at least his first year, but that was not the case.

Guy is immensely talented. Speed of Mariota, and arm of Mettenberger. Once he settles in, he will be dangerous.

I believe that the coaches play the player that gives the team the best chance to win. I think it is moronic to believe other wise.

I think Mulat is basically agreeing with you, and saying that he/she would have liked to see Miles arrange a situation where Harris could have redshirted his first year. I think.

The days of red shirting talented players, such as Harris, are over. imo

Many don't stay 4 yrs. So, sitting them and taking snaps away from them so that they can mature in some way is not as effective as it once was.

If Harris is as talented and has the up side some claim, he should be getting reps as the #2 guy right now and not be totally out of the picture for practice snaps to get ready of games as RS guys are for a whole yr.

If he is to be in the mix for the starter next yr., he has a better shot having worked as the #2 guy this yr. as opposed to having very limited practice this yr. and no game action.
