Lets look at what De Blasio said:

quote:

“What parents have done for decades who have children of color, especially young men of color, is train them to be very careful when they have ...an encounter with a police officer,”
Sounds like sound advice, and something that's been repeated ad nauseum on this board by countless posters.
quote:

“With Dante, very early on, we said, ‘Look, if a police officer stops you, do everything he tells you to do. Don’t move suddenly. Don’t reach for your cellphone,’” said deBlasio. “Because we knew, sadly, there’s a greater chance it might be misinterpreted if it was a young man of color.”
Again, great advice. Is his crime telling his kid to be careful around law enforcement, or that as a minority it was especially important, considering the greater frequency he would statistically be dealing with law enforcement?

An exceesive force case (possibly) with a black supervising officer that is framed thusly in the TEXTUAL FRAMEWORK OF A NATION ENVELOPED IN RACIAL TENSION (Ferguson):
quote:

"We are dealing with centuries of racism that have brought us to this date," de Blasio railed.

WTF ? That escalated everything. That was the gas. That was the antithesis of anything a sensible leader would do. But DeBlasio is a racial demagogue, playing right along with Obama, Holder, Sharpton and all the other race demagogues. That was followed quickly by the mob chanting for the death of cops, followed by the assault of cops, followed by the murder of cops.
