Yeah but what you have to remember, is that these large sports complexes are built for the entire ISD (independent school district). So in most cases the complexes are shared by 6-10 schools. We don't split schools by parishes here like in La. Think of it like a bunch of Zachary/Central/EBR 'districts'. Katy ISD has Katy, Morton Ranch, Taylor-Katy, Cinco Ranch, Seven Lakes, and Thompkins (new this year).
For example, the Houston metro has 10-15 ISD's.

i'm referring to the individual schools in TX that have 4-6k enrollments, double what anyone in Louisiana has... it'd be like Jefferson Parish still having just East Jefferson and West Jefferson
