re: NYPD cops shot execution style in Brooklyn

I think the prevalence of stop and frisk might be blown out of proportion. I've lived and worked in NY for years in all sorts of neighborhoods and never once saw anyone stopped and frisked by cops. And anyone that's been to NY knows that there are sketchy arse people everywhere at all times (regardless of race). Not commenting on stop and frisk as a policy, just want people to know it's not like East Germany.

Sometimes in NY, cops will set up a table outside of the turnstiles in the subway where they randomly checked bags. I don't agree with it, but it definitely wasn't based on racial profiling.
