We have some great friends of ours - love them to death, we usually vacation with them every other year, etc... they do very well for themselves financially. They have a daughter same age as our oldest daughter (6 yrs old). The wife (no pics) loves this Matilda Jane stuff and probably a good 1/3 of the daughter's wardrobe comes from there. She's also gotten my wife (no pics) to buy a couple of dresses, although the ones we've bought were like 70 percent off or some crazy deal.
I find the look of the clothes to be beyond ugly. I like my daughters to dress girly especially while they are so young, but I don't think this stuff looks girly, it just looks stupid. I don't understand why high fashion is so dang ugly.
However, I will say the materials they are made out of, and the quality of the construction, are beyond impressive. This stuff will last, and if you have multiple girls, you could easily pass it down from one to the other.
Most of my kids clothes come from Kohls. I'm not paying a ton of money for clothes when they grow a size every year or so.

I heard that Matilda Jane gets all their clothing from dead Romanians...
