Do any of those champs have tube reverb? Both of the amps he listed are reverb amps and not tremolo amps so I would assume he's into more blues than anything. Those little amps do sound great though.

nope, no reverb. could always pick up a good reverb pedal though.
or look into my personal favorite tube amps... 60's/70's ampeg gemini/reverbrockets

these amps have the best tone IMO out of all of the amps from that era. I like vox amps as well, but ampeg was making some killer amps in that time.

Yeah, I've always been a southern rock/classic rock/country player, but I've really been liking more bluesy stuff lately. Really like the reverb that these would put out.
I am planning on running a Tube Screamer pedal for my overdrive. I'm definitely wanting a clean sound that can handle a strong boost. I want something that is really a solid amp, versatile, but if it's going to lean one way, I'm wanting more blues/classic rock, definitely nothing heavy.
Blues Jr is smaller than I'm wanting. I hate feeling like I will want to upgrade in a few years, which I could see happening if I went smaller. If I'm spending the money on a new amp now, I'd rather get one that I know will last me for a good while.
