I'd go Deluxe. Great tone. I guess the question is, "How loud of a room are you trying to play without going through a PA?"

That's a good point. I felt like if necessary I could mic the amp (which I would probably do anyway to mix).
I haven't looked into Vox at all, but I am pretty set on Fender. Friend of mine in college had a Twin, and I loved the sound he got from it.
