Reasonably priced under counter lights are ones you may not like. LED light are a bit pricey but nice.

Definitely get a bunch and try them under your cabinets. I went through four different ones before I said "frick it, it'll be dark", and brought them all back. I didn't like either the color or the beam focus. You'd really have to try them.

I got these for my hutch in my office. they're awesome and reasonable.

If you are going to do enough of them though you can just buy the tape and a power kit and make them yourself.

New construction or remodel? I got hardwire LEDs from lowes but there are cheaper options. Tape lights are the way to go if you have the right set up

This is what I use almost exclusively. I've installed hundreds upon hundreds of these in many $million$ homes. I've never had a complaint. I usually get about $75 for it (not including installation)
