Why is Russ at least a foot shorter and younger in this movie? The same can be said about Uncle Eddie's children too.

Be careful with how you handle this one. I'm just sayin'.

If they are in Chicago, how are they able to take a day trip to the mountains to find a Christmas tree?

Why would this be sent as certified mail on Christmas Eve?

Why is everyone absolutely petrified of a squirrel?
How did the neighbors not call the cops after their psychotic neighbor caused so much property damage to their home?

been awhile since I've seen this one. Did they ever find out where the Tylenol was?

Why would Hughes gives us a very, very veiled glimpse of Ellen's tits rather than just show her topless?

Yo killz imma let you finish, but the "Home Alone and Home Alone 2" thread is the greatest movie over analyzation thread of all time.

What was Mary's background? She wasn't married. Surely she didn't work in the department store full-time. Was she back from college for the holidays and working to make a few extra dollars? Single mother working a 2nd job to put her kid in day care? She was damn strong lingerie salesman, and had Russ not interrupted the demonstration, I know Clark would have dumped more of that bonus check on some of the merchandise Mary was selling.

how did no one smell the 100lb rottweiler's throw up under the table?
Posted on 12/17/14 at 1:55 pm to mizzoukills
Why didn't they leave the cat in the box and just poke holes in it?

The part that gets me is when Clark rides that sled-thing at extremely high rates of speed. The speed and time of the ride would indicate that he was miles and miles away from where he started, yet Eddie and family were able to see him crash.

Why the hell did Clark not crawl through the hole in the ceiling once the floor gave way? He could have just gone head first and onto Russ' bed.
Had Clark never set up Christmas lights before? Why did he have such a problem determining which switch needed to be turned on in order to light the house?
Did Clark really use 24,000+ staples for those damn lights? You'll notice as he is stapling along the gutter that he inserts a staple between each light.
Why does Uncle Lewis fall asleep immediately after the squirrel jumps out from the tree? When it originally occurs he stands up like everyone else...
Uncle Lewis standing
...only to seemingly fall back asleep.
Uncle Lewis asleep

How much damn money does a food additive designer make to be able to afford that big arse house in the Chicago suburbs and cross-country trips to Wally World? Helen is a homemaker so it's not like she is contributing to the household income.
Also, if he can afford all of this shite, why does the pool deposit nearly break him? Are the Griswolds living paycheck to paycheck?
