Wrong 2011, just needed a QB that did not freak out against Bama.

2006 D would have destroy the 2011 O.

2006 O would score on 2011 D.

2006 basketball for me was my favorite ever.

2011 football is easy answer so I'll go with 2006

Underrated for me though is that 2008 baseball team. So much fight in them. Never seen a more clutch team. Loved watching those guys

2011 - Never more relaxed during a football season.

1987 - That blowout of South Carolina in the Gator Bowl was beautiful to watch.

1982 and 2011, 1982 was 11 points from 12-0 I was there for most of them, have to say I literally cried two weeks in a row..win over FSU (drunk cry for joy), and then 28-31 Tulane- cry of pain and it was bad...we were 27 point favorites, 27....Reggy Reginillie, 4th and 4, never felt that much pain over a game before or since, and then on way back from game gf and I got in fight and broke up, she ended up with another guy and I went home alone...bad night, very bad, even 1/9 was easier, at least we lost to a very good team...but Tulane in 1982...wow...

2011 and it's not even close. Oregon game, Wva game, smashing Aubie and Florida...9-6. Was by far my favorite season.

Not much talent. Huge heart on that team. Made it to the Final Four (and beat #1 seed Kentucky to get there) on guts and determination.

older guy here. My favorite was 1982, Dalton Hilliard's freshman year. History books tell you that team finished 8-3-1, but that doesn't begin to address how special that team was.

My family had moved in from out of state in the 70's with the petro-chemical industry, and so LSU was just the local college team for us until that point (and Dad was more into MLB). That season transformed us into rabid LSU-for-life fans, to the point where all of us kids got our degrees from LSU and never considered going anywhere else.

this season also. Early 80's with the Macklin basketball teams and the Hilliard football teams were special times.

I loved the 2001 team and they were champions. I don't mean to nit pick because I know you are referring to the natty. However, they won the SEC (with 3 losses) and crushed Big 10 champ Illinois in the Sugar Bowl. That's a big deal in any year. They deserve to be remembered as champions.
