These "SJWs" appear to have exteme views. Those with extreme views often paint themselves in a corner and have to either acknowledge their views are extreme or become hypocrites; most choose the latter.

That being said, this is not exclusive the the SJWs or the left. Too often I see those on the right do the same thing (e.g., someone who advocates for small government but then wants more government for something they support such as exteme Neo or social conservatives).
