Cheers, we are kindred spirits. I spend WAY below what we make. If you saw me price comparing my online carts across the net you would think I was broke. But I work hard for my money, as does my husband. I prefer living below my means, I don't have to ever stress about the state of my financial accounts. One of buddies, who I adore, stresses me out just walking into her house. There's always a huge new purchase and her and her husband's salary are both public record, aka teachers. And they spend way more than folks who make, say, 4-5 times more than them.
