the team that wants jh, need to go through the Rooney rule. need to interview black coaches.
Raiders will not move to LA this year. the owner said very clear. Miami will not chase JH unless he turns Michigan down.
if you are JH, you do not want to go to Jets. Afc east is owned by patroits. the rebuilding work not easy. in 4 years, you may get fired.
JH is a good coach but may not be a great one. a guy lost superbowl and multiple nfc champ games, may not be a great one. so the jury is still on him. this may be his peak in his career. that is 49er does not want to pay him.
so stay in nfl is nice. but for the next a few years, he may need to changes jobs 3 times before he is done coaching.
saban is smart to know this and he quit nfl and now is the king in college balls.
the money is not an issue in michigan. they will pay him
