I haven't reached a conclusion, but here is my take. Anyone agree/disagree?

Recruiting: Adv. Miami...they don't even have to recruit outside of Dade County. Former players are a tight-nit group.

Facilities: Nebraska. Memorial Stadium is very impressive. They also have top notch weight facilities.

Administration: Probably Nebraska. Tennessee is a close second.
Nothing is worse than a poisonous, apathetic administration. It can kill a program. Look at Colorado. The Buffs used to be a traditional "big name" team. They'd pull great players from New Orleans, Texas, and California (Kordell Stewart, Eric Bieniemy, Rashaan Salaam). They won a Heisman and a National Championship. Colorado was a national force. Then the administration decided they wanted nothing to do with the program. Now they are a Pac 12 whipping boy. Miami appears to have fallen the same path as CU. Nebraska has fired two coaches (Solich and Pelini) for going 10-3 and 9-3. The Nebraska Athletic Director essentially said that even though Pelini went 9-3, they weren't winning the big games and Pelini wasn't going to ever get Nebraska to the next level. That may turn some fans off, but I admire a program that strives for greatness.

Conference: Tennessee. You can't argue with the SEC right now.

Location: Miami. I'd personally say Knoxville, but I don't think recruits give a flip about the Smoky Mountains, crisp autumn season, etc..

Money: Nebraska. They've got around 1.25 billion compared to Tennessee and Miami's 850 million. This really isn't that big of a factor, but it shows that the University has the money available for upgrades, paying coaches, etc.

Fanbase: Flip a coin between Nebraska and Tennessee. I don't know much about Tennessee, but Nebraska fans are top class. They sellout every time...show up...they stay the whole game. I'd give them the edge, but I'm sure the Vols have some very loyal fans.

I'm biased so I'm not going to argue which program will be back first..

But this is wrong.
