Is there supposed to be a problem with the sign?

Seems like some pretty solid advice.

As for me, if there is hunting going on where I'll be walking...I won't be walking there.

Also look out for the Kisatche woodsmen. He appears at the edge of the woods once the last log is placed on the fire. It is said that he was killed by other woodsmen (not by hunters) for his boots and ax,which was used to crush his skull. Lots of campers have seen bloody foot prints the next morning near the campsite.

Just a heads up.

The thing about avoiding the hogs is good advice. Those MFers are some of the meanest and most aggressive animals I've ever encountered!

The point of the sign is to protect hunters and their rights.

About 10 years ago up here in North La. there was a housewife who lived on the border of the woods where deer hunting was common.

She was working in her backyard bordering the woods. She was wearing white work gloves. A hunter shot and killed her. He claimed that all he could see through the foliage was white at the level of a deer's tail.

Don't know what the court determined. Probably negligent homicide.
