On the surface I wouldn't hold others to a higher standard. I would hold them to the same. But my question to you was why hold a public figure to a lesser standard. You and I agree that this kind of personal issue should remain a personal issue. That was the main point I was making.

Great question. My perspective is, the bigger the soap box the more careful one has to be about what they share/preach/etc.
