I love AmEx. I'm with the other posters - the places we shop generally wouldn't get the 6%. I use the Blue Sky most often because AmEx gave me a ridiculous limit. About to jump on the Chase Sapphire Preferred wagon, though.

Like others have said places like Walmart, Costco, Target etc are not considered grocery stores. Also not every gas station is included either. You will have to stick to Shells, Exxon's and not independently owned gas stations to get the 3%.
I put all my gas and groceries on this card and put everything else on a capital one 2% cash back card.
