That's part of the irony of what is going on today - Warren is the catalyst of opposition on the Senate side (due to the Dodd-Franks add on), thus establishing herself as an obstacle for Obama, the guy behind MoveOn.org and Warren's rise to a top level spot within the party. Obama has been known for along time to favor Warren over Hillary in 2016, though he can't say it. Now, she is part of the group that's fighting him today. This is a lose-lose for the Democrats in terms of unity for 2016.
