it kinda happened with Houston Nutt. I think Arky fans would say he was forced out but he landed at OM pretty quickly for him to just be forced out

As the story supposedly ran, Tubby then turned around after being at AU for 1 yr & let Skip know that he was interested in LSU if/when Saban ever left.Skip's wife told more than a few people about that contact. At that point in time, the league office let Tubby know, through unofficial channels, that that would be seriously frowned on.No set rule but the league office is not in favor of it at all.
