Same experience here. Bought a couple tacomas at Tejas in Humble Tx just north of Houston. Asked what our tax rate was where we lived and did everything for us. Nothing to it. I have to say though, I finally got a connection locally and bought local last time for the first time ever and the service has been excellent. Treated completely different. If I call ahead for even an oil change, they offer me a loaner bc they know I'm usually busy. Dropped mine off yesterday and they had to get a part out of Houston. No loaners on the lot so they brought me to enterprise and rented me one.

I am actually related to one of our dealer families and I cannot get a deal. I may stop trying altogether. The advertised price of my wife's Explorer at Haik was over $3,000 less than what I got as Hixon's bottom dollar.
