He's like a Jamarcus Russel. Tons of physical talent but doesn't have the intelligence or drive to be great at the game. Way too immature and then combine that attitude with millions of dollars, you have a bust waiting to happen.

Some poor team will have to draft him and take that chance. Glad it's not us.

I'd take Mariotta all day.

I don't think the team should pick him, but I completely disagree with the intelligence and drive part. Sure, he's immature, but even with his bumps off the field, he leads his team and is consistently one of the hardest working guys out there.

I think it's unfair that he only gets compared to the likes of Russell, Griffin, and Newton.

Just because he's black he gets compared to black QBs?

If you're going to compare him to a black QB in the league right now, I'd say his game is closer to Russell Wilson's.

Overall, his closest comparison off the top of my head would be Matt Ryan.

What? I'll give you the character concerns, but from all accounts he's nothing less than a a hard worker. Plus you're telling me multiple game winning drives isn't the "drive to be great" Or his 26-0 mark as a starter?
