Why is todays country music and Radio stations so bad? Country sucks now for several reasons: 1. Infusion of LA pop music producers in Nashville studios 2. More women doing country music instead of pop due to country's less demanding vocal range 3. The guys that 10 years ago were in bands like Nickelback, Staind, Hinder, ect are now doing country because Rock N Roll is dead. 4. Country has gone "mainstream", which means it is now, like all other genres, about appearances instead of authenticity, emotion, and story-telling (as it had always been before).
