Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. says it has no information of a loss of data following a cyber-attack on its Internet-based services for PlayStation video-game consoles, the company said on Monday. “We are still investigating the incident, including possible causes of it, but we haven’t found any trace of any sorts of information leaked out,” the company’s spokesman said. Sony confirmed users had troubles accessing its PlayStation Network, where users can buy game titles and communicate with other players, from 8:52 a.m. to 11:18 a.m. The system has already been completely restored, the company added.

With games going more and more through origin and EA required gameplay...in the future these online attacks may be more devastating than this. Which is why I like games that don't require the Internet to play....doesn't destiny do that?
