Have some faith man. It's just as easy to choose to be optimistic as it is to sound like a pessimistic, miserable old bastard. I'm sure you "hope you're wrong" and all that, but that isn't the same as having a little blind faith in this team's ability to improve. Try it out, you'll feel better.

sure, but if I'm continually optimistic every week, only to be disappointed every time, then I'm just a chump.
After a while, the optimism fades, and reality sets in.
