Facts are below
Rich Rod and anybody else listening turned down the job in tuscaloser. So the gumps got a truckload of money so $abes would break his Miami contract.
The spin job has been going on ever since.

Hilarious to hear this from LSU fans. My brother lives in New Orleans and politely listened while LSU neighbors and co-workers would condescendingly tell him about how much the Saban's hated it in Tuscaloosa and how Saban wanted the LSU job back. This was even well into the 2008 season. The guy has been there a month short of 8 years and people STILL try to convince themselves they are miserable in Tuscaloosa....lol.
