I don't doubt that saban would have entertained an LSU offer if the job was open, and I don't doubt that Skip would've welcomed him back. I doubt completely that saban was behind scenes angling for miles to be fired and saban to get that job. I don't think he mad the slightest effort to that end.

In before some idiot tries to claim he met with boosters in Monroe in 2007 to try to get job back.
