I have two synology NAS devices. They are very easy to setup and use. I recommend them all the time. I basically use mine for file storage and my surveillance system but they are capable of so much more.

Ash thats exactly what im planning on using mine for.
If you dont mind what outdoor cameras do you have? and what software do you have running them? i assume there is a way to allot a certain amount of storage on the NAS and it records and deletes when it fills.
