sadly, if the sheriff won't enforce trespassing, maybe you can figure out who is hunting it and sue them for injunctive relief.

I'm staying awfully quiet over here as this sounds REMARKABLY similar to a place you and I used to hunt...

To be fair though, we had that map from 1812 with us, and there may have been a coffee stain or two on it, but legal was legal.
