Playing anywhere doesn't help with recruiting anymore. Games are all nationally televised now, it's not 1990 anymore.

This is correct. Almost all our games are on national television. All recruits around the country know who we are. Whether we play Texas, ND, or any other team in a bowl makes no material difference in recruiting.
