Generally for LSU, no. We've already played in Houston this year, and Notre Dame is the better team with just as big if not bigger name. Don't listen to Arkansas fans saying that the SEC put them there over us. Their delusion knows no bounds.
Personally, however, yes. Houston would have been easier for me to travel to, and I likely would have went had it been there. I just graduated and don't begin work until Jan 19th so I'm too low on cash to make it to Nashville. If I was working though, I would rather go to Nashville no doubt.

Hotels are rapidly being booked up completely according to a friend that is night manager of Hilton downtown.
I think LSU fans are going to travel here much better than people in Texas are saying. Nashville is close to a lot of cities with decent sized LSU alumni bases, Atlanta, Memphis, Birmingham, etc. Its also 8 hours tops from Baton Rouge, 7 from Nola, if you want to drive and a quick and easy Southwest flight from Nola. Its a new place for us to play and its a great city for football games and fun after the game all within a few square miles.
